2nd Sunday on King Street is safe. It’s a way to enjoy downtown Charleston with her many cultural offerings, shared with your friends and neighbors. Security is provided by the City of Charleston’s finest, and in 15 years we’ve never had an incident to report. Why do we, 2nd Sunday’s staff, buy lunch for the cops? Pretty small thank you for the safety and protection they provide. Stop and thank those men and women who put our safety over their own.
